My 24th race, and second of the April 27 – 28th weekend, was the Fiesta Fandango 2.6 miler. This is more of a fun-run than anything else as only the top male and female finishers get awards. This is a very unique event, however, as it is an evening run and participants run the course of the Fiesta Flambeau parade, the largest night-time parade in the US. This event was part of the Fiesta San Antonio, an annual 10-day celebration in April that has many ongoing events that help raise funds for local student scholarships and other nonprofits.
